Our new email address is the5wilsons at dodo dot com dot au Thanks to the many of you who have tried to keep in contact with us by various means over the last six weeks. Sorry that we have not replied to many emails over this period, but our old English email address died when we stopped our telephone account (this might explain why you could not contact us on our old Tiscali account), and we have not had much access to the internet to send emails. For the first few weeks we were staying with Andrew's family in Brisbane midweek and staying with some friends in Toowoomba over the weekends, as we tried to get a house to rent and attend to the many things you have to do when you move from one country to another. Thankfully, in God's kindness, we now have a nice house with a big grassy garden, which backs onto a big park, down the bottom of which is a great Christian bookstore. We're all catered for! We have got the children booked into a school for the start of the new school year (two weeks more holidays). We have been trying to sort out furniture for the house over the last few weeks. We are still waiting on our boxes from England with our personal effects, but these should be here within the next few weeks. We have been made very welcome by the Christians at the assembly we are attending here and are looking forward to working here in Toowoomba (and elsewhere) in reaching out with the good news of Christ and teaching God's Word. It was very hot here for the first few weeks (mid 30s in Toowoomba), but now there has been a good amount of very needed rain. Toowoomba is still on level 5 or 6 water restrictions, but at least everything is green again. Just like two years ago when we were in Australia, the rain seems to follow us around. The snowy conditions in the UK sound exciting - our boys would be loving missing school to go tobogganing! If it all gets too much for any of you in the UK, just remember us here in Australia and book a holiday to come and visit us in Queensland - we promise we'll take you to the beach (and the bookshop).
